Acne Facial Treatment



OK I’m really excited now!  I received my Acne Repair Kit from Mario Badescu the day before yesterday and started using it right away.  I know I said I’d report back after 2 weeks but I’m seeing real encouraging results this morning and feel like writing this down now.

This is what I’ve been doing the last 2 days:

In the morning – Thoroughly washed and dried face, then dabbed the drying lotion on all whiteheads, and then applied drying cream to all blemishes.

Before going to bed – Thoroughly washed and dried face.  Then applied buffering lotion to all affected areas, including bumps underneath the skin and pimples that have surfaced.  Then dabbed drying lotion on whiteheads.

When I woke up yesterday (after using the products for half a day and one night), I noticed some results.  Around 20% of the surface blemishes were gone, the redness had reduced, and the under-the-skin bumps were somewhat less painful.

And then I woke up this morning (which I just did 10 minutes ago) and went into the bathroom to wash off the lotions I looked in the mirror and lo and behold – my face is now as clear as it hasn’t been since I was in my teens!  I still have a few bumps and a couple little patches of red on and beside my nose (always been my problem area) but I’d say that 80% of my acne has disappeared!

At the risk of sounding cliché, I’m completely blown away.  I did already have high expectations because of what other people have said about this Mario Badescu product, but I guess after all those other products I’ve used that didn’t really work, I wasn’t really expecting this level of success to come in such a short time.

Sorry if I’m not being very coherent but I’m on cloud nine and enjoying it up there!  Can’t wait ‘til I let Rob see me tonight!  YAY!!!!!!!!!

*UPDATE*:
I’ve been using the Acne Repair Kit for over a month now and am happy to report that my face is almost COMPLETELY clear.  By almost completely I mean no redness, no pain, no excess oil on my face, and only the occasional zit.  I do still get a blemish here and there once every few days but the drying lotion takes care of them almost overnight.  I’ve stopped using the drying cream because there are no more blemishes to hide.  Also, I’m only using the buffering lotion every other night instead of daily, because my face has become clear so using it every day was starting to dry out my face.  The drying lotion I only use occasionally like I said when I see a zit appear.  And because I’m not having to use more than a tiny bit here and there, the $46 kit will last me for months and months from now.
